Waukesha® Metal Products and the Milwaukee Bucks honored the 115th Fighter Wing of the Wisconsin Air National Guard at one of the ten Hardwood Homecoming Veteran Salutes Bucks games on March 19, 2013 against the Portland Trailblazers.

Along with Waukesha® Metal Products and the Milwaukee Bucks, the nonprofit organization called Operation Warrior Wishes was also involved in the honorary Hardwood Homecoming. Also known as All32in17, Operation Warrior Wishes is a program that provides VIP type experiences to honor our nation’s heroes. When first kicking off this program, they wanted to honor “Wounded Warriors” by bringing them to all 32 NFL stadiums in just 17 weeks. After reaching their goal at the end of the 2012-2013 NFL season, they started looking to plan a “30 in 30 project” for both the end of the NBA and NHL 2012-2013 seasons.

After hearing about the Hardwood Homecoming Veteran Salutes Program, Operation Warrior Wishes reached out in hopes to honor the 115th Fighter Wing at a game. Waukesha® Metal Products and the Milwaukee Bucks were happy to help out and honor these Veterans at one of the ten games.

Waukesha® Metal Products and the Milwaukee Bucks were proud to have the opportunity to say thankyou to the 115th Fighter Wing for their service and welcome them home to the hardwood. The commitment and sacrifice our military have shown for this country is valued by all; their courage and dedication has not gone unnoticed. Thank you 115th Fighter Wing and the other members of your unit who have served our country, we cannot thank you enough.
