Waukesha® Metal Products and the Milwaukee Bucks honored Specialist Nick Neumuth at one of the ten Hardwood Homecoming Veteran Salutes Bucks games on March 30, 2013 against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Specialist Neumuth went on deployment at the end of May last year and hasn’t been home since. After not seeing his kids in over 10 months, Waukesha® Metal Products and the Milwaukee Bucks created a surprise homecoming for Specialist Neumuth to come home to his family.
Both Specialist Neumuth’s daughter and son were chosen to “Find Bango” at the March 30 game during a timeout. The children were blindfolded and told to point and walk in the direction to where they believed Bango was standing. Little did they know they were actually finding their father. As the crowd cheered them on, Specialist Neumuth stood with Bango and waited while his children walked toward him. When they reached their father, both removed their blindfolds in hopes they reached Bango; but an even greater surprise awaited them, their father.
Waukesha® Metal Products and the Milwaukee Bucks were proud to have the opportunity to say thankyou to Specialist Nick Neumuth for his service and welcome him home to the hardwood. The commitment and sacrifice our military have shown for this country is valued by all; their courage and dedication has not gone unnoticed. Thank you Specialist Nick Neumuth and the other members of your unit who have served our country, we cannot thank you enough.
