Waukesha® Metal Products and the Milwaukee Bucks honored Lance Corporal Michael Peterson with Fox Company Marines at one of the ten Hardwood Homecoming Veteran Salutes Bucks games on April 1, 2013 against the Charlotte Bobcats.
For the past 6 months Lance Corporal Peterson has been on orders attached to the Inspector-Instructor staff, Fox Company 2D Battalion 24th Marines, 23d Marine Regiment in Milwaukee, Wis. as a member of the Funeral Honors detail. Lance Corporal Peterson has provided funeral honors to over 120 Marine Veterans in the state of Wisconsin. He has on numerous occasions been the lead member of the honors detail.
During the 2012 Toys for Tots Campaign in the Milwaukee area, Lance Corporal Peterson dedicated countless hours of his own time. Thanks to Lance Corporal Peterson’s hard work he helped reach out to over 68,000 children in our Milwaukee area communities, making sure that every child had gifts at Christmas.
