Waukesha® Metal Products, an international metalforming supplier, has executed a letter of intent to purchase the assets of Revstone Fabrication San Luis Potosí S de RL de CV which is located in San Luis Potosí, SLP Mexico. The final agreement will be completed by Dec. 7, 2013.
This strategic acquisition will further expand Waukesha® Metal Product’s capacity and offer logistics solutions to their customers with locations in Mexico. In addition to added capacity necessary to continue Waukesha® Metal Product’s growth, the acquisition will allow further diversification of potential markets served and add valuable talent.
President and CEO, Jeff Clark, of Waukesha® Metal Products states, “We are very excited to move our Mexico strategy forward with the addition of the Revstone Fabrication operation in San Luis Potosí.”
The acquisition of Revstone Fabrication will complement and expand Waukesha® Metal Product’s operations in a region and economic market they have been serving for many years. The Revstone Fabrication plant is a 100-thousand square foot building which currently contains eight stamping presses ranging from 120-tons to 600-tons. In addition to the stamping equipment, the plant has fabrication equipment including; two laser cutting machines, a CNC tube bender, press brake, and five robotic welders. Hiring the existing Revstone staff will allow the Company to immediately begin production in San Luis Potosí once the agreement is finalized. With this new acquisition, Revstone Fabrication will become Waukesha® Metal Products de México S de RL de CV.
