Waukesha® Metal Products and the Milwaukee Bucks honored Sergeant Miguel Delgado from the United States Marine Corps at one of the fifteen Hardwood Homecoming Veteran Salutes Bucks games on Nov. 2, 2013 against the Toronto Raptors.
Sergeant Delgado enlisted in 1999 right out of high school. In 2005 he was injured by an I.E.D and suffered from a torn femoral artery, fractured femur, a shattered heel and a traumatic brain injury. Sergeant Delgado spent 3 months in the hospital and three months in a wheel chair. Sergeant Delgado retired in 2007 and lives in Pleasant Prairie with his wife and three kids.
Waukesha® Metal Products and the Milwaukee Bucks were proud to have the opportunity to say thank-you to Sergeant Miguel Delgado for his service and welcome him home to the hardwood. The commitment and sacrifice our military have shown for this country is valued by all; their courage and dedication has not gone unnoticed.
