The Milwaukee Bucks and Waukesha® Metal Products, a rapidly growing international metalforming supplier with capabilities that include metal stamping, sheet metal fabrication and tool design/build, are joining forces for a second year to honor and recognize the brave men and women who served in the United States military with the Hardwood Homecomings Veteran Salutes program.

The Bucks and Waukesha® Metal Products will work with area military branches to identify and honor returning soldiers at 15 Bucks home games (listed below). The selected veterans will be recognized on the court during the first game timeout after watching the pregame shoot-around and having their photo taken with a player. There is also the possibility of surprise homecomings. Each honored veteran will receive 25 lower bowl tickets for their family and unit.

The Salute tips off this Saturday Nov. 2 vs. Toronto with Sergeant Miguel Delgado who, in 2005 was injured by an I.E.D and suffered from a torn femoral artery, fractured femur, a shattered heel and a traumatic brain injury. Sergeant Delgado spent three months in the hospital and three months in a wheel chair. Sergeant Delgado retired in 2007 and lives in Pleasant Prairie with his wife and three kids.
