Waukesha® Metal Products and the Milwaukee Bucks honored Sergeant Anthony Garbo of the Golf Company, 2nd Battalion Marines at one of the ten Hardwood Homecoming Veteran Salutes Bucks games on March 24, 2013 against the Atlanta Hawks.

Sergeant Garbo has served 10 years in the United States Marines and is a decorated combat veteran of both Operation Iraq Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. His duties on tour included two combat tours to Iraq, two humanitarian missions to Japan and the Philippines, and one combat tour to Afghanistan. Sergeant Garbo recently returned from a tour of duty in Afghanistan, where he received the Navy Achievement Medal with the Combat “V” for his combat actions. Sergeant Anthony Garbo is also a recipient of the Purple Heart Medal for wounds he received in combat. He currently resides in Sun Prairie with his family.
