The Milwaukee Bucks and Waukesha® Metal Products, a rapidly growing international metal-forming supplier with capabilities that include metal stamping, sheet metal fabrication and tool design/build, are joining forces this season to honor and recognize the brave men and women who served in the United States military with the Hardwood Homecomings Veteran Salutes program.

The Bucks and Waukesha® Metal Products will work with area military branches to identify returning soldiers, and at 10 Bucks home games (listed below) the select veterans will participate in a pregame honorary game ball presentation to the team captains and NBA officials. There is also the possibility of surprise homecomings. Each honored veteran will receive 25 lower bowl tickets for their family and unit.

“It is a privilege to participate in the Hardwood Homecomings recognition of our returning veterans,” said Jeff Clark, Waukesha® Metal Products president/CEO. “Their service to our country and the state of Wisconsin, and the magnitude of the sacrifice given while performing their duty, is admired by all. We are indebted and thankful for their service.”

The Salute tips off this Saturday vs. Toronto with Sergeant Adam Alexander who, as a member of the 432nd Civil Affairs Battalion, suffered a traumatic brain injury after being hit by shrapnel while serving in Afghanistan. Alexander made a successful recovery at the Minneapolis Veterans Hospital and now lives and works in Oshkosh, Wis.
