Certified Welding Services for Fabrication and Assembly

Waukesha Metal Products offers certified manual and robotic welding capabilities to support our metal fabrication, enclosure, and value-added assembly operations. From structural welds to precision joints in thin-gauge sheet metal stampings, our welding services are built around process control, consistency, and the ability to support complex production.

Welding is integrated into both U.S. and Mexico operations, allowing us to scale flexibly and deliver consistent quality across locations.

Manual Welding

Our team includes certified MIG and TIG welders with experience across a wide range of materials, part geometries, and production conditions.

  • MIG Welding (Gas Metal Arc Welding): Ideal for efficient production, especially where material thickness and throughput are priorities
  • TIG Welding (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding): Used for thin sheet metal, complex weld paths, and applications that demand high precision and appearance
  • Spot Welding and Resistance Welding: Commonly used for subcomponents, hardware, and formed assemblies

We also weld tooling fixtures and forming aids used in custom fabrication setups.

Robotic Welding

Our robotic welding systems support repeatable weld quality, improved efficiency, and consistent part handling. Robotic welding is especially effective for:

  • Higher-volume assemblies
  • Repeatable weld paths
  • Projects with defined process windows and fewer variations

Parts move between manual and robotic welding based on project complexity. Not every job benefits from automation, and our team knows when it matters.

Welding as Part of the Process

Welding at Waukesha Metal Products is part of an integrated system, not a bolt-on service. We use weld simulation and fixture design to improve outcomes before production begins. Our in-house teams work together to align tooling, fixturing, and inspection processes to avoid variation and reduce rework.
