Custom Metal Stamping for Complex Applications

Waukesha Metal Products provides high-precision metal stamping services built for structural integrity, repeatability, and speed. With stamping operations in both Wisconsin and Mexico, we support regional and international programs across automotive, defense, aerospace, energy, medical, and industrial sectors.

We specialize in custom metal stampings, progressive die stamping, and in-die automation, backed by disciplined processes and a team focused on long-term performance – not short-term shortcuts.

Advanced Metal Stamping Equipment & Capabilities

Our equipment lineup supports everything from short-run prototypes to high-volume progressive metal stampings. We operate more than 20 stamping presses ranging from 1.5 to 660 tons, with bed sizes up to 145 inches and speeds up to 400 strokes per minute.

Capabilities include:

  • Servo press technology for tighter control and programmable motion
  • Coil-fed systems handling materials from 0.008″ to 0.375″ thick
  • Coil widths up to 50″ and weights up to 15,000 lbs
  • Tooling options for stage dies, transfer tooling, and progressive dies

We serve customers across North America looking for responsive, high-volume metal stamping partners with a proven ability to manage program complexity.

Metal Stamping Materials

Our experience spans a wide range of materials used across critical industries. We frequently support aluminum sheet metal stamping, copper sheet metal stamping, brass metal stamping, and progressive tooling for coated or exotic materials.

Commonly used
materials

  • Low Carbon Steel
  • High Strength Low Alloy Steel (HSLA)
  • Stainless Steel
  • Cold Rolled Steel
  • Galvanized Steel
  • Spring Steel
  • Tin-Plated Steel
  • Copper and Bronze
  • Aluminum and Aluminum Sheet
  • Brass
  • Coated, Painted, and Specialty Materials

From automotive metal stamping parts to aerospace-grade alloys, our team understands how to form and finish metals with consistency and care.

Disciplined Stamping with Built-In Quality

We’ve developed a proprietary die sensor program that enables real-time feedback and in-die validation.

These technologies allow us to integrate:

  • In-die measurement
  • In-die welding
  • In-die assembly

Our in-house engineering team works closely with toolmakers and quality techs to build in performance, starting with the die design and carrying through every production run. It’s a controlled, closed-loop process that reduces risk, improves reliability, and supports zero-defect manufacturing goals.
