For the third year in a row, Waukesha® Metal Products is excited to celebrate National Manufacturing Day on Friday, Oct. 3 by opening their doors to the community, students and educators who wish to see manufacturing first-hand.
Waukesha® Metal Products will be hosting facility tours and presentations at both locations: Stamping & Tooling in Sussex, Wis. and Fabrication in Grafton, Wis. The tours will take place between 10a.m.-3p.m. with prescheduled times for local schools.
The current prescheduled tours taking place at Waukesha® Metal Products’ Sussex facility are:

  • 9:15am-10:45am with Merton Intermediate School. 40+ students and chaperones attending.
  • 12:45pm-2pm with North Lake Middle School. 40+ students and chaperones attending.

The current prescheduled tours taking place at Waukesha® Metal Products’ Grafton facility are:

  • 8:30am-10am with Port Washington High School. 30+ students and chaperones attending.
  • 12:30pm-2:15pm with Grafton John Long Middle School. 100+ students and chaperones attending.

Waukesha® Metal Products will highlight the importance of manufacturing to the nation’s economy and feature the many rewarding, highly-skilled jobs available in the manufacturing industry. The facility tours will allow visitors to experience the manufacturing process first-hand. Waukesha® Metal Products representatives will be available to provide any answers to questions in relation to career pathways in the industry, equipment, the production process, or any other questions visitors may have.
