In addition to being awarded one of the Top 10 Businesses of the Year, Waukesha® Metal Products was named No. 1 Business of 2014 by the Waukesha County Business Alliance and media partner BizTimes Media LLC at the Top 10 award luncheon Friday, June 6. After being awarded the No. 1 Business, President/CEO, Jeff Clark, of Waukesha® Metal Products gave a small speech and discussed the importance of having a great team, realizing exporting capabilities and understanding different cultures. Clark highlighted the opportunity that is out there for Wisconsin businesses and stated, We really have to export capability and whether that is on a plant here in North America or plants out of other countries you still have to be able to deal culturally with a global market. The Top 10 Award program recognizes companies headquartered in southeastern Wisconsin that have consistent financial growth, and demonstrate a commitment to good business practice through their employee relations, customer-focused commitment, community service and business education partnerships.
